Claudia is a Community Health Worker and Advocate providing medical interpretation. She also has an IEP certification. She enjoys volunteering with the United Way to prepare taxes at the Sacred Heart Center.
Her inspiration is her 12-year-old twins, a boy and a girl. They are members of the Youth Justice Leaders program where they help children who are facing challenges in society. They have a “failed” foster dog who is now the heart of their family!
Claudia feels safe in Hanover County. She wants to live in the community where she works and is actively involved so she can continue to make a positive impact. Being able to buy a house here will give her a sense of belonging. She is feeling excited about the anticipation of the future! She believes that an affordable home will be transformative.
