COVID-19 Update

To our Habitat supporters,

This is an update about the measures Hanover Habitat for Humanity is taking to protect our staff, volunteers and the people we serve during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. We continue to follow guidelines issued by our local, state and federal authorities as well as directives from Habitat for Humanity International.


RESTORE: The ReStore is open 9am - 4pm Monday through Saturday and is accepting donations at the back of the building from 9am - 3pm.  We are unable to do any residential pickups at this time due to COVID.


ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE:  Hanover Habitat for Humanity administrative offices remain closed to the public except through appointment.  Most staff is working remotely and can be reached by email.

  • ReStore - We can accept 2 volunteer per shift in the store. (9-1 or 12-4) Volunteers must wear a mask at all times. As of January 20th, we are checking temperatures of volunteers and staff upon their arrival to the ReStore for their shift.   • Construction - No groups or individuals will be scheduled for volunteering. If you are interested in being notified when scheduling has been reopened, please email Amanda Gunter at [email protected] or call/text 804 304 0516.
  • Recycling - Our recycling crew is working every Tuesday. Individuals volunteering must wear a face mask and bring their own tools. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Amanda Gunter at [email protected] or call/text 804 304 0516.
