STAR Community Kick Off

Hanover and King William Habitat for Humanity kicked off work on a new 5-home affordable housing development in Ashland. Having just finished site work and in preparation for new construction to begin, We held a Community Kickoff on Saturday, November 11^th, from 11am -1pm at the corner of S. Taylor Street and Arlington Street.

STAR Kickoff included the following people:

Shera Glasco, Habitat Board Member

Perry Hickman, USDA Rural Development, State Director

Sue Dibble, Hanover County Board of Supervisors

John Hodges, Town of Ashland, Vice Mayor

Pam Sopall, newly elected Ashland Town Council

Habitat also celebrated their 80^th Home Groundbreaking with Christopher Jackson, the future home buyer of the first home in STAR.
