Doswell Dedication

Two Homes. Two Families. One Community.

On August 27, we celebrated the dedication of two new Habitat homes in Doswell! After months of hard work, these homes are now ready to become home for Jessica and her family, who will purchase a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, and Omar and Iris, who will purchase a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home.

A home dedication is about more than completing a house – it’s about celebrating what happens when families, volunteers, donors, and community partners come together to make affordable homeownership possible.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these homes a reality!

Special thanks to Hamilton Beach for donating small appliances; Wegmans for filling the pantry and refrigerator; and the volunteers and donors who contributed their time, quilts, gift baskets, and more.
